Private Pilates Classes
The Wethersfield Studio offers private classes on the Pilates equipment including the Pilates reformer, Cadillac, ladder barrel and chair. Pilates and working on the equipment provide a workout like no other. The machines enable anyone, including beginner exercisers, seasoned athletes, people with certain injuries, pre and post-natal women and teens training for a sport, dance or gymnastic program to perform a variety of moves specific to the needs of their body and fitness level. You get the best workout for your body and the undivided attention of your instructor to ensure every exercise is effective. Joe Pilates wrote, “In 10 sessions you’ll feel a difference; in 20 sessions you’ll see a difference; in 30 sessions you’ll have a whole new body.”
Maggie teaches the private classes at Personal Euphoria. She is more than a personal trainer. Her background in post-rehab enables her to work with clients with a variety of different needs. She has trained with four of the Pilates Elders, men and women
who trained with Joe Pilates and taught into their 80’s and 90’s. Her certification is through STOTT Pilates—one of the most reputable Pilates programs, and her goal is always to have you feeling better when you walk out than when you walked in.
Private classes are also a good way to get more out of the group classes you attend. Try one or two privates to learn the subtleties of the exercises you are learning in a Pilates class. Pilates is all about subtlety. A slight adjustment can make an exercise harder or easier. Pilates works to create long, lean, stable muscles to enhance everything you do in life. The concept of Pilates is to keep your body strong, flexible and mobile so that you can continue doing all the activities that keep you going. From gardening to sitting at a desk to running to playing with your grandkids—the principles of Pilates help make life feel better by improving posture and creating awareness. Try it. You’ll like it!
